I am now living and enjoying a normal life without pain
I came to see Douglas as I was in so much pain; it was getting on top of my life and me. I had the back problems since childbirth, for 11 years roughly and that is a long time to have so much pain and see your life slipping away from you while others around you are enjoying their lives. I have three children. Robyn 16, all was fine with her, Jack 12, it started slightly from here. But by the time I had Elle 9 years ago, I was in big trouble. During labour itself with Elle I thought my back had broken in two!! After that I got on with life, but suffered a severe weakness, even basic housework was hard work. I honestly worried about how I would be able to work.. I couldn’t stand for long without my back aching.
I moved to the Algarve in Portugal to start a new life. I felt that at my age I should not be suffering, not knowing what was wrong. The year before I saw Douglas I had walked on uneven ground and had somehow put my back out even more. Some days it really got to me. I would do anything to lead a normal life without pain. I heard about Douglas via a leaflet that I found at the Wellness Centre while visiting there. It was advertising a Public Performance Entitled ‘An evening with Douglas Ballard’. He was presenting an evening of Healing and Clairvoyance at the Hotel Belavista in Alberfuia. I attended intending to have Clairvoyance. But I got healing instead! It was obviously what I was meant to have! I’m a bit of a sceptic. I want to believe but I need proof. I had healing after watching people say. ‘Oh yes I felt the energy’ etc. My turn came and Douglas did his healing and I thought… I don’t feel anything!! I heard him say ‘are you ok?’ I thought … oh wake up, open your eyes. It was only then that I felt dizzy, disorientated, and slow. Douglas realised I wasn’t myself and explained a lot of energy had gone in and sometimes it can make you dizzy… I can’t argue with this… I felt like a zombie. He then proceeded to put his hands on my head to balance me. Others that were watching probably thought yeah, right, but I was embarrassed and when he next asked if I was ok I said ‘yes’ and I wasn’t really. I then had to walk back through the audience, I felt as if I was walking like I was drunk!! Everyone I knew could see it!! I felt so light headed, as if I was drunk! It was for this reason alone that I went to have a healing energy session, which proved to be more than I thought.
My experience was great and I knew it wasn’t imaginary I had the most amazing experience! I felt so relaxed during the treatment…but I still felt dizzy when I got up. Douglas again put his hands on my head and made sure I was ok, I felt good, but he did tell me that it could get worse for a few days before it got better. It was only an hour after the treatment that I felt achy, just a bit achy though! This got progressively worse over an hour or two and I had to take painkillers. After a few days my back got better and better! There is no explanation for this; I can’t begin to tell you what happened… All I can say is. ‘Try it, make your own mind up’. It’s not in your imagination! I found Douglas interested in my problems and wanting to help me, he cared about how I was and could see how much pain I was in. It took a few healing sessions but now my back is great! I can do normal things now and live a normal life.
Before I met Douglas I had been to see Chiropractics and spent over £500 and was worse than ever. I was worried whether I would ever be able to work or do anything… housework was out of the question! Nothing! My back was so bad I can’t tell you how much it stopped me from living my life!! And as for being normal again, even my disbelieving partner is amazed!! I feel that it was one thing I did right in my life!!! Since then … we have bought a bar in Albufeira… called Fat Cats! Opposite Pao de Aldeia where I work, at times nearly 16 hours a day. On my feet! Don’t get me wrong, I have to try and look after my back…but I can work now like normal people and when I came to Douglas I only came for Clairvoyance but ended up getting what I really needed…healing. Now, thanks to Douglas, we provide so I am told the best English food in the Algarve!!!
As for me, I will always be in debt to Douglas because I live a normal life now.... he gave me the energy healing and I will always be grateful, I’m just so glad to have had the opportunity to meet him and experience the energy healing. What I call real healing, that works!!
