Nowadays we are always looking for proof of what can and cannot help us. What is a miracle and what is not!!! How much value do we put on our health when things go wrong. I think that after 9 years I can say with confidence that I may have had a miracle. If not, what was it?
This is my story of how I suffered so much pain for so many years. Then in a few minutes my life started to change. I first had back problems after the birth of my first child some 33 years ago, when giving birth to her I had an epidural. 3 years later I had my second child. It was three years after that, that I had a slipped disc. I had never been out of pain for all those years. In that time I had suffered a second slipped disc and severe pain. I had made many visits to have my back treated and that allowed me to continue with bringing up a family and all the hard work and problems that go with it.
It was nine years ago when having treatments from Douglas, that changed my life so much, it gave me a new feeling of what I can now say is a better quality of life and a feeling of comfort knowing that I can have a life not hampered by pain.
I am now a driving instructor and in December 2008 I went to pick up my next appointment, as I pulled up in the car, I remembered that many years ago I had been to one of the houses here to have treatment for my bad back. I asked my client if she knew of a gentleman that gave healing and enquired if he was s till living there. She said, “Yes, next door.” A couple of weeks later whilst picking up the same client I could see the gentleman and remembered his name was Douglas, he was outside cutting branches from a tree.
I went over and said ‘hello’ and reminded Douglas of whom I was. To my surprise he remembered me. We then got into a conversation about my back and I told him that since I had the treatments from him 9 years ago I had the odd slight twinge but not a lot. I explained that it had completely changed my life. We continued to chat, but I had to go as I had my client waiting for me. We both felt that we would like to talk further and decided that It would be better if I came back after the New Year when we both had more time. I returned to his house one morning in January 2009 as arranged. I explained to Douglas how he had helped me all those years ago. I told him that he had given me a new lease of life as I was suffering so much with my back. I reminded him how bad I was on the day he arrived in the flower shop where I was working.
He had seen me on the upper level of the shop lying on the floor in so much pain that I can’t tell you. I remember he asked me what the problem was, I explained and then he gave me a treatment to my back, there and then on the floor. Afterwards I was able to stand and felt that the pain had reduced considerably, he then asked me if I was able to see him at his consulting room after work so that he could give me more help.
I have to say that although I had the second treatment I was already starting to feel so much better, words cannot describe the relief I felt. I returned for a total of six treatments and remember very well that after 10 days I was back horse riding, I will always remember that. It was the quickest that I had ever been back on a horse, whether I had been to an osteopath or a chiropractor, that was the quickest.
My back was much, much better; although I do have the occasional slight twinge but that is all, ever since that time. I can only remember that, that day it stopped me in my tracks I don’t know if it was a slipped disk or whatever it was, I know that it bought me to tears and so much pain. After Douglas had treated me and sorted my back out I took a job cleaning which I continued to do for five years, It’s hard work cleaning four houses a day, I know I would not have physically been able to do it before I saw Douglas.
I have never looked back since then. I have now qualified as a driving instructor, sitting in a car all day, which again is not the best thing for someone who has had a bad back. So I feel that I have done very well with my back, I think it was pretty good don’t you and all thanks to Douglas and the treatments.
So here is my proof that it all worked for me.
